Aashish chandratreya

I’m Aashish Chandratreya, a New York City–based photographer and a New York Film Academy graduate. I photograph people at their best and moments at their realest, with experience covering more than 500 events, including weddings, private celebrations, and large-scale productions.

Over the years, my camera has taken me from quiet, personal stories to big public stages. My personal work has been published in National Geographic Traveller, and I’ve had the chance to share that journey as a TEDx speaker. My photographs have also found a home on gallery walls in New York, at Miami Art Week, and at the Griffin Museum of Photography (Massachusetts). Along the way, my images have been featured in outlets such as Hindustan Times, Times of India, and IndiaTimes.

I bring a documentary instinct and a cinematic eye to every shoot, always chasing great light, genuine emotion, and the small details that make a story unforgettable.
